Residential Counselors
Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking full-time people to work in our residential program. We have a variety of Concord area locations and are looking to fill second shift hours of 3:00pm-11:00pm. Come work with our dedicated staff supporting our wonderful residents.
As a Residential Counselor, you’ll be responsible for providing services and support to individuals living with mental illness, assisting them in their recovery, and helping them attain the goals they have set for themselves. If you are flexible — and possess excellent administrative and clinical skills — this could be a great opportunity!
Throughout the program we offer group home living, as well as more independent living, where residents, with the support of staff, manage their own individual apartments within the group home setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in routine residential operations, including community integration and apartment hygiene.
- Assist in managing activities and medication supervision services.
- Support residents in working towards their residential goals.
- Ensure the safety of residents and other staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education, or human services is preferred.
- One year of related work experience preferred
- Flexibility to work different shifts, and some holidays
- A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with auto insurance is required
- CPR certification, or willingness to become certified is required
- He-M 1202 (medication management) certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
