IES Residential, one of the nation’s largest and most reliable electrical contractors, is looking for motivated leaders to join our team.
As electrician lead-man you will lead your team in completion of new construction single family home rough and/or trim.
Location: Job-sites in and around El Paso TX and Las Cruces NM
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk with opportunity for overtime
Minimum Education:NoneMinimum Years of Experience:2-4Specific Qualifications:
Duties & Responsibilities may include
- Complete houses rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
- Lead in the installation of lights, switches, receptacles, etc.
- Maintains working relationship with subcontractors and division managers
- Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions
- Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
- Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
- Plans and lays out work for sub-contractor workers in accordance with the engineers’ specifications and the National Electric Code
- Ensures job material and equipment is ordered and at the job site in compliance with the schedule requirements
- Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
- 2 years of Residential experience
- Occasional travel out of town
- A valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Already have basic tools is a plus
- Knowledge of the current National Electric Code
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Bi-lingual a plus
