The Residential Remodeling Project Manager at Independent Construction & Remodel, Inc. plays a key role in managing and overseeing residential construction and remodeling projects from start to finish. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects stay on budget, meet deadlines, and exceed customer satisfaction goals. The role involves managing lead carpenters, subcontractors, and all aspects of project coordination. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results on time.

• Maintain and organize job files with all necessary paperwork, including change orders, plans, inspections, and communication logs.
• Ensure that purchase orders are distributed along with appropriate plans.
• Develop and update job schedules regularly.
• Review and approve invoices to ensure budget alignment.
• Oversee the timely delivery of materials and confirm start times for subcontractors.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain smooth project flow.
• Ensure safe, neat, and tidy job sites at all times.
• Manage job stages according to the project schedule.
• Ensure jobs are completed and ready for handover within the time specified in building contracts.
• Address and resolve project issues or delays quickly and amicably.
• Recognize important updates to share with the owner and key staff members.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety policies, and local building codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and a willingness to learn new project management software.

• A strong commitment to customer service, making clients feel that their needs are our top priority.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• A self-starter who is highly organized, task-driven, and able to take ownership of projects.
• Positive and solution-oriented, with the ability to see opportunities in challenges.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a desire to collaborate with a team to complete projects on time.

• 3-5 years of experience in residential construction/carpentry.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to adapt to and work with new technologies and software.
