About the Job
Under general supervision, the Senior Administrative Clerk performs specialized clerical work to include data entry into various database/documentation platforms and preparing correspondence and other documents. This also includes copying, proofreading, maintaining electronic and manual file systems, answering phones, providing customer service, operating office equipment and assisting with clerical and administrative functions. The employee works with many different records or forms, receives and prepares information for further processing or record keeping and performs specialized departmental functions and customer services. The Employee may provide limited administrative assistance to supervisor on some routine duties as assigned, indirectly oversee office functions as assigned and may relieve supervisor on some routine duties. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in daily contact with the public and staff.
