We are looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist in Claremont, NH. The ideal Respiratory Therapist will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong commitment to patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Your duties include conducting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, administering respiratory therapies, and educating patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, evidence-based care and to adjust treatments based on patient responses. Your ability to adapt to the needs of diverse patient populations, maintain a calm demeanor in critical situations, and advocate for best practices in respiratory care will be essential in promoting patient health and recovery.
Job Requirements:
- Respiratory Therapist (No CRT)
- 2+ Years of Experience
- NBRC
- BLS / ACLS (AHA)
- NH Respiratory Therapist License
- Must be traveler with tax home address more than 50 miles away
- Must be willing to work Thanksgiving (and Friday after) along with Christmas - New Year Day block (if needed / scheduled
- No more than 5 total RTO days will be accepted during assignment

Position duties:
- Performs EKGs, types report interpretations, sends reports to physicians who requested them and files reports in department, according to department procedures.
- Sets-up and monitors mechanical ventilators and the associated critical care duties required for such treatment, such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
