Job Description: Respiratory Therapist - Level I Trauma Center (Burlington, VT)
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is actively engaged in a search for an experienced Respiratory Therapist on behalf of our partner, a prestigious Level I Trauma center located in Burlington, VT.
Position Overview:
- Signing Bonus: $5,000 to $10,000 based on years of experience.
- Licensure: Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Vermont before the start date.
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Care.
- Certification:
- New graduates must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status from the NBRC within one year of hire.
- Seasoned therapists must already possess RRT status.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Shift Differentials:
- $2.75 for Evening shifts.
- $3.50 for Weekend Day shifts.
- $6.50 for Night shifts.
- $6.25 for Weekend Evening shifts.
- $10.00 for Weekend Night shifts.
Work Schedule:
- Standard shifts are 3x12 hours.
- The facility can accommodate 5x8-hour shifts on the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
- Alternatively, a flexible schedule of 5 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next, totaling 72 hours per pay period, is available.
- Every other weekend work is required.
