Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Home Service

• Position: Respiratory Therapist
• Location: Houston, TX
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Weekends/On-call: as determined by leadership
• Requirements: holds the following license; LRT, BLS

THE POSITION:

• Utilize your clinical, communication and organization skills to serve medically complex children and their families.
• Facilitate safe transition for hospitalized children to their home.
• Train parents and caregivers on medical equipment.
• Manage and follow your own patient caseload.
• Set up diagnostic studies in the home and hospital.
• Develop personal, long-term relationships with your patients.
• Get additional certifications, CEUs, and ongoing education for free

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination within 1 year of employment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
