Job Description: Respiratory Therapist

Location: 1201 Langhorne Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Langhorne, PA. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with various respiratory conditions, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients with respiratory disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Perform assessments and diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory health and the use of respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of respiratory equipment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Additional Information:

• Must be able to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
