Responsibilities:Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist.
Qualifications:- Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program)
- Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory care
- NYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist Technician
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)
- Current BCLS certification
- Computer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc.
- Knowledge and use of clinical practice guidelines and best practices
