Respiratory Therapist - Concourse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Inc.

Looking for a Full-Time Nights (7pm to 7:30am shift) Respiratory Therapist to providerespiratorysupporttoallresidentswithabnormalitiesofcardiopulmonary function. Responsible for monitoring andtreating patients withtemporary or chronicrespiratoryconditions.Administrationandmonitoringofalldiagnostic and therapeutic modalities withinthescopeofpractice.Dutiesincludeinterviewing patientsandcompleting diagnosticteststodeterminetheirrespiratoryconditions, communicating withPhysiciansandNursestodeveloppatienttreatmentplans andadministering respiratory treatments topatients based ontheir conditions.

Prioritize workload; determine which residents require immediate care. Provide education to family members of all procedures.

Education, Training & Experience Graduate of an AMA, a respiratory therapist program or certificate of completion from AMA accredited program. Current NYS respiratory therapist license. CRT or RRT bythe National Board for Respiratory Care. BLS bythe American Heart Association.
