We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Restaurant Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our fast-casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency. This role involves assisting the General Manager in managing daily operations, staff development, and maintaining a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and train team members to ensure outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
- Help create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.
- Monitor daily sales and labor costs, providing insights and recommendations to achieve profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both employees and guests.
- Address customer feedback and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional strategies and community outreach initiatives.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a strong team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to analyze financial performance and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and operational best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
