We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our fast-casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exceptional service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high-quality standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and recruitment efforts to build a cohesive team.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food cost controls to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement marketing initiatives and promote special events.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including dining and kitchen areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
