About the Job
The Crowne Plaza is a busy convention hotel with a thriving restaurant and bar. We are seeking a talented, creative individual to complement our successful culinary team by assuming the responsibility and direction of the restaurant operation. Our goal is to make a successful hotel restaurant and build a customer experience that rivals the local free-standing restaurants. The successful individual will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to enhance the already popular Sunday Brunch and Friday Seafood Buffet, as well as develop an appealing menu that can be marketed locally as well as to hotel guests.
Compensation:$55,000 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Hire, schedule, train, and manage the restaurant kitchen staff
- Develop menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and various buffets
- Collaborate on Special Event Menus for the Restaurant
- Assist in training servers regarding menu items
- Establish recipe cards for all menu items
- Establish standards for buffet items and food display
- Maintain food-cost parameters
- Establish loss prevention procedures
- Formal Culinary Training with documentation
- Clear Communication Skills, Verbal & Written
- Kitchen Management Experience

- Highly Developed Organizational Skills
