Job Overview:
A renowned fast-casual dining establishment specializing in authentic and contemporary halal dishes is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Glendale location. This role is pivotal in upholding our commitment to quality, service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee the entire operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food preparation, and adherence to company standards.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a team of dedicated staff members. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, professionalism, and teamwork.
Financial Oversight: Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Implement strategies to increase profitability and operational efficiency.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure every guest receives prompt, friendly, and courteous service. Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback effectively.
Quality Control: Uphold stringent standards for food quality and safety. Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked and operational costs are within budget.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and community events. Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community and businesses.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. Prepare and present regular reports on restaurant performance, goals, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager in the fast-casual or quick-service restaurant industry.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, managing, and motivating successful teams.
Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management.
Exceptional customer service mindset with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations pertaining to the foodservice industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
