With a strong commitment to service excellence and team development, we are looking for a dedicated General Manager to lead the team at our new location on Eastchester Drive in High Point.
Job Summary:
As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, from staff hiring and training to financial performance and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with the Director of Operations to uphold Slim Chickens' standards, ensure operational efficiency, and create a positive work environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in restaurant management, a passion for team leadership, and a drive for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and manage staffing needs.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control expenses, and analyze financial performance to meet and exceed company goals. Track inventory, labor costs, and other financial metrics.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests have a positive experience, addressing any issues promptly and maintaining Slim Chickens’ high service standards.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health standards are met. Conduct regular health and safety audits.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community to build brand awareness and foster a positive relationship with guests.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Handle any challenges or issues that arise within the restaurant, making decisions that benefit both the team and the guests.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the District Manager on store performance, staffing needs, and other critical metrics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-casual or quick-service.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
