General Manager – Upscale Restaurant
$95,000 - $110,000
This renowned, upscale local restaurant, known for its quality ingredients and creative menu, is seeking an experienced General Manager, someone who brings a true passion for hospitality and outstanding service.

Your Role with the Company:
- Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed in a timely basis
- Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and building maintenance
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner
- Control cash and all other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
- Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary
- Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, make hiring and termination decisions, and evaluate employee performance
- Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety
- Assess staffing needs and recruit staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a General Manager or Sr. Assistant General Manager in high volume ($6M+) full-service upscale restaurant
- Proven experience in a full-service setting with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about food education and able to inspire team members
- Dedicated to improving team cohesion and expanding performance
- Skilled in evaluating and enhancing operational procedures
- Bar and liquor inventory experience highly desired
- Spanish language skills preferred
