Job Specific Experience Requirements

Previous Management Experience:
Typically, at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the food
and beverage industry, as a General Manager or Manager role.

Operational Knowledge: Proven experience
managing restaurant operations, including front-of-house (FOH) and
back-of-house (BOH) operations.
·
Financial Acumen: Experience in
budgeting, financial management, and cost control. Familiarity with financial
statements, profit and loss (P&L) analysis, and inventory management.
·
Customer Service: A strong background in
customer service, with a focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences
and resolving customer complaints effectively.
·
Leadership: Demonstrated experience
leading, managing, and developing a diverse team of employees, including
hiring, training, and performance management.
·
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Restaurant Management - POS and inventory
management systems.
·
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of health
and safety regulations, labor laws, and licensing requirements relevant to the
food and beverage industry.

managed and led a team of 30+ employees, including front-of-house (FOH) and
back-of-house (BOH) staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work

Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall operational efficiency of the restaurant, including management, budgeting, and managing the flow of income and expenses.
- Follow and enforce Moda Cafe procedures and rules, ensuring they are implemented and monitored.
- Manage the performance of all subordinate employees.
- Keep all employees informed about operations and innovations.
- Develop and monitor training and development plans for all employees.
- Motivate and lead all employees.
- Coordinate the calculation and distribution of tip system points and accounts for the staff.
- Exchange necessary information with the head chef and ensure coordination between the service staff and kitchen staff.
- Drive and enhance sales growth.
- Keep the subordinate supervisor team informed about operational matters.
- Implement and enforce occupational health and safety rules.
- Maintain and improve service and product standards.
- Control the costs of all departments and take cost-saving measures.
- Prepare weekly reports (employee schedules, sales, sales cost, pastry waste, etc.).
- Perform inventory counting and control and take measures to reduce wastage.
- Identify restaurant needs and coordinate purchases in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure that materials and/or equipment arriving at the inventory match the orders and ensure that invoices and delivery notes are checked and accepted according to procedures, and that they are stored and used under appropriate conditions.
- Coordinate and/or perform the restaurant's opening and end-of-day closing procedures.
- Monitor cash transactions and reports, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist with all marketing activities, media work, etc., to be carried out at the restaurant.
- Ensure and maintain a restaurant ambiance that aligns with the Moda Cafe concept and sustain success according to brand standards.
- Implement decisions and changes made by Moda Cafe management as quickly and effectively as possible and achieve the given targets.
- Take necessary measures for restaurant security.
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met and conduct necessary inspections.
- Implement customer satisfaction initiatives, direct employees towards this goal, and make recommendations.
- Address guest requests and complaints, resolving issues, take preventive measures to avoid complaints, and inform Moda Cafe Management about complaints.
- Be knowledgeable about the operation, warranty periods, and maintenance contracts of technical equipment; maintain files and records related to user manuals, warranty cards, and service addresses; and ensure periodic maintenance is carried out.
- Implement and enforce all legal requirements, and coordinate with Moda Cafe Management and official authorities when necessary.
- Take necessary precautions to prevent value loss, spoilage, breakage, wastage, etc., for all materials, products, fixtures, cash, valuable documents, legal documents, company documents, etc., in the restaurant; ensure that all employees demonstrate the required care and attention.
- Possess a valid ServSafe Food Handler Manager Certification.
- Report to work in accordance with all dress code and uniform standards designated for the department.
