We won’t sugarcoat it: The Restaurant Manger role is one of the toughest jobs in our restaurant. But it is every bit as rewarding as it is demanding. On any given shift, you will have the opportunity to teach and empower the 8 to 25-person team of people you lead. You will facilitate outstanding, remarkable service for countless guests and make sure they walk away smiling! You will have your hands in everything from cash and inventory to systems management to team member development and so much more, which will help you learn skills and gain experience that will be valuable to you for a lifetime. Your leadership will have a huge impact on our restaurant’s success. The ultimate goal of this person will be to serve long as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an operator within the next 3-5 years.

Here are the details:
- Be responsible for smooth and efficient day-to-day operations: When our guests leave our restaurant with hot fries and delicious lemonade during your shift, they will have you to thank! You are responsible for making sure every system runs smoothly. You will make decisions, solve problems, keep your team aligned and focused on the day’s goals, and make sure everyone is executing their tasks efficiently and effectively. Don’t worry—you won’t be alone! You will have lots of support from your team and from the Director team, to whom you’ll report. But at the end of a successful day, you can go home with the satisfaction of knowing that it couldn’t have happened without you!
- Help others grow personally and professionally: You are the leader our team will interact with the most, which means that you will be able to provide them with feedback that will lead to the biggest growth. You will empower them to learn what they’re capable of by holding them accountable to doing excellent work and giving them critical feedback when they need it. The way you treat your team is the way they will treat our guests and each other, so it’s so important that you help them feel valued, supported, and cared for.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Be able to work between 5:30 a.m.- 11:00 p.m.
- Be available to work Monday through Saturday, Holidays and Weekends
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be able to work 40-45 hours per week. Working overtime can be required based on business needs.
- Have at least an associate’s degree OR 3 years minimum of restaurant management or leadership experience
- Be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, being bilingual is a plus!
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite Products
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. (in the event that you need to move inventory, help unload a truck, etc.)
- Works outside in hot and cold elements, noisy and fast paced environment
- Be able to stand for the duration of a shift 8-12 hours
- Have a valid driver’s license
Should we hire you for this position, additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Being directly involved in team member development and performance issues, and contributing to discussions that involve suspension and termination
- Partnering with Directors to ensure the success of quarterly team performance evaluations for team members
- Opening the restaurant and overseeing the morning team’s workflow and the quality of their work
- Leading daily huddles to keep the team engaged and informed on goals, trends, and results
- Staying informed of changes within our industry and our brand
- Implementing policies and procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve order accuracy
- Serving as subject matter expert to the team in regard to hospitality, care, and FOH operations
- Alleviating bottlenecks and proactively addressing and creating systems to prevent future bottlenecks
- Handling emergency situations (such as broken equipment, staffing issues, and inventory shortages)
- Daily setup for shifts so that every team member is clear on their responsibilities for the shift
- Adhering to and enforcing our uniform and grooming standards
- Understanding that the use of personal devices should be strictly restricted to business-related issues while on the clock and enforcing this policy with team members
