What it'll look like:

•  TEAM MANAGEMENT/DEVELOPMENT
  • Train new hires on Zeeks procedures and culture
  • Cross-train current employees for added efficiency, effectiveness, speed, and motivation
  • Schedule kitchen and restaurant staff as appropriate and consistent with labor targets
  • Ensure the highest standards of sanitation, health, and safety are being met in all work areas
    
• STORE OPERATIONS
  • Manage all aspects of cost of goods sold (COGS), including implementing changes as necessary
    
  • Evaluate metrics (food, speed, delivery) for every shift (even when not present) and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Continually assess food quality to ensure that the kitchen is producing perfect pizza and salads every time
  • Count and report weekly and monthly inventory
  • Complete all Operations Reports (temp tracker, dough log, cleaning calendars, etc.) and/or effectively delegate responsibilities to staff
  • Successfully maintains a CLEAN, well-stocked kitchen

• COMMUNICATION
  • Effectively communicate with customers, and establish and maintain Zeeks' culture of friendly and attentive service with entire crew
  • Consistent and effective communication with owners to achieve restaurant objectives (sales, labor, food cost, customer experience, etc.)

Experience and Qualifications

• 1+ year of Kitchen Management experience in a high-volume restaurant required
• Previous experience in a pizza kitchen (particularly a Zeeks!) strongly preferred
• Ability to remain level-headed and think clearly under pressure
• Demonstrated leadership skills (effective communication, delegation, big-picture thinker)
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards
• Proven organizational and managerial skills
• Previous Point of Sale System experience required
