Restaurant Manager - North Star American Bistro
North Star American Bistro located in Brookfield, WI is seeking a talented Restaurant Manager to join our team! We have been open in Brookfield for over 18 years and we know how to exceed the expectations of those that choose to dine with us. We pride ourselves in offering a comfortable, casual environment for our guests to enjoy exceptional food, beverage, and service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, implementing growth strategies, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position is full time (40-45 hours per week), 5 days per week and offers a mix of opening and closing shifts, Monday through Saturday. We are closed every Sunday and most holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Seamlessly execute lunch and dinner services
- Weekly FoH schedule
- Monthly liquor inventory
- Develop and implement growth strategies
- Conduct interviews to hire, train and develop new employees
- Evaluate performance and productivity
- Research and identify growth opportunities to optimize revenue
Requirements:
- Minimum of (1) year managing a full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive nature

The Milwaukee Ale House-Grafton is located in Grafton Wisconsin. Set on the banks of the Milwaukee River, the Ale House has 2 levels for dining and 2 large bars. The main floor is used daily as a full service restaurant/bar and the second floor is used for overflow seating on busier day/nights as well as for private parties up to 180 ppl. We offer a full food/liquor menu as well as 24 tap lines with craft beers from many local, regional and national breweries. We take great pride in the quality of our food, drinks and service.
