Position: Restaurant/Bar Manager
Job Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Soul Rebel, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality.
- Manage and lead a diverse team of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, while efficiently managing restaurant resources and budgets.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of both guests and staff.
- Curate and update the menu and bar offerings in collaboration with the kitchen and bar teams, reflecting Soul Rebel’s unique identity and customer preferences.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing vendor relationships, and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Plan and execute events and promotions to attract new customers and engage the local community.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the restaurant and bar industry.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Experience with financial planning, budget management, and profitability analysis.
- Creative thinker with a passion for food, drink, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred but not required.
