Restaurant Manager Trainee - Badger Burger Co.

Badger Burger is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager Trainee to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility would be to manage the restaurant and be part of the management team. Responsibilities will include the functions listed below.

• Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
  
• Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
• Maintaining safety and food quality standards
• Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
• Organizing schedules
• Keeping track of employees’ hours
• Recording payroll data
• Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
• Supervising daily shift operations
• Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed
• Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
• Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
• Appraising staff performance
• Interviewing/recruiting new employees
• Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels

Qualifications/Skills:

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Ability to work as a team member
• Follows directions and instructions

Education and Experience Requirements:

• One to two years of experience as a Restaurant Manager 
  
• Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  
• Familiar with industry best practices
