About the Job
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparations.- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, entering them into the point-of-sale system.- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring that all orders are correct and presented attractively.- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly and professionally.- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions according to company policies.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.- Stay informed about menu changes, wine pairings, and special promotions in order to provide recommendations to guests.- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to foster a collaborative work environment
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow sanitation practices- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
