Restaurant Supervisor
Department: Restaurant
Reports to: Floor Manager
Summary
Supervisors are the liaison between staff members and the floor manager. Helping WOW guests, while supporting fellow staff members and aiding in manager needs
Principal Activities & Responsibilities
- Opportunity to lead daily shifts
- Monitor open dining areas
- Communicate with the floor manager
- Knowing and working to get to sales and labor goals
- Staff lead - setting a good example and positive attitude
- Managing breaks
- Assigning side work stations
Job Requirements
- Must be the minimum age of 18
- Ability to memorize and learn our menu
- Ability to work under stressful situations
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and/or small group situations to guests and other team members of the organization
- Ability to work with team members without judgement or criticism
Level of Authority & Restrictions
- Supervising other team members on shift
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of times
- Must be able to handle guest complaints and respond appropriately
Working Conditions & Environment
- Must be able to handle high volume environment
- Is required to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed
Mandatory Requirements
- Must obtain food workers permit
- Must obtain MAST permit if over 18 years old
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to memorize our menu
