Retail Associate
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and providing customers with a positive experience.
Duties:
- Transaction Handling: Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale equipment. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently. Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets. Ensure accurate pricing and correct any discrepancies immediately.
- Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, and cash handling.
- Customer Service: Provide information about products and services, answer questions, and resolve customer complaints.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.
Job Requirements:
- High school completion or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized restaurant point-of-sales (POS) systems. We use a Micros POS system.
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees and management.
- Ability to work in a team or group environment.
- Desired experience in positions involving handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions and or customer service, or bussing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
