Job Description
The Retail Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of multiple retail stores on property, ensuring profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves business planning and execution, managing inventory, developing the sales and operations team, and maintaining high standards across all aspects of the business. The Retail Sales & Operations Manager plays a key role in driving success by making strategic decisions and fostering positive shopping environments.
Responsibilities
•Drive performance across multiple stores by meeting and exceeding sales goals.• Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficient and effective performance.• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.• Handle supply ordering, inventory management, merchandising, and pricing integrity. • Verify inventory and reconcile discrepancies, owning the physical inventory process.• Oversee all processes and paperwork for receiving and managing inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Omni standards. • Train, schedule, and develop retail supervisors and staff. Partner with Director of Retail and Associate Services for all hiring and performance management processes. • Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with standards.• Conduct team meetings to set expectations for operational procedures, merchandising, and sales goals.• Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies.• Analyze sales and operational reports and metrics, providing insights for improvement.• Utilize business acumen to create and execute business plans and recaps.• Ensure positive customer experiences and resolve any customers issues. • Support all Omni Hotels & Resorts’ associate engagement and training programs: including Moments of Service and Power of Engagement.• All other reasonable tasks and assignments as requested by the Director of Retail or senior leadership
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3 years of retail management experience required. (Multi-unit experience preferred; not required.)
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
