Job DescriptionAre you interested in in becoming an Optician or working in the optical industry but don’t have much experience yet? Join our Walmart Optician team, where we'll help you grow your skills and turn that passion into a rewarding career!
You’ll receive hands-on training while providing exceptional eye care services. Work side by side with licensed opticians and gain invaluable experience with a variety of optical products and equipment, all while ensuring everything is clean, functional, and up to date.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Providing quality eye care services to our customers, assisting with selecting the best eyewear for their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
- Learning to perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings of glasses and contact lenses. You will work closely with the licensed optometrist to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and satisfaction.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:
- Are interested in learning to be an Optician.
- You have a passion for helping people see better and feel confident about their vision.
- You enjoy interacting with customers and providing them with personalized solutions for their eye care needs.
Salary & benefits
Compensation: $20/hr-$26/hr

- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 1 year of experience in optical lens dispensing.
- Are excited and interested about the opportunity to become an Optician.
- ABO certified optician is a plus.
