Key Responsibilities: + Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and promote staff development

+ Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service by setting and maintaining high standards for customer interactions, merchandising, and store cleanliness

+ Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise to maximize sales and minimize waste

+ Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including merchandising displays, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives

+ Financial Management: Manage store budgets and financial performance, monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve budget targets

+ Quality Control: Maintain merchandise quality standards and ensure all items meet Goodwill's quality guidelines

+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Goodwill policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations

+ Community Engagement: Represent Goodwill in the local community, building positive relationships with customers, donors, and community partners

Minimum Qualifications: + Associate Degree or equivalent experience + Two years of successful supervisory experience at Goodwill; or 2+ years of successful store manager experience with full P&L responsibility in a small box environment; or 1+ years of successful management experience in a big box environment + Strong leadership and team management skills

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and pricing strategies

+ Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking software

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field

+ Experience working with diverse and inclusive teams

+ Passion for sustainability and Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities for people with diverse challenges
