The stylist is responsible for providing and maintaining a positive, friendly, helpful, and professional selling experience with customers. Stylists are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all Wedding Shoppe customers and achieving sales goals by following the Wedding Shoppe Sales Operating System.
Customer Focus:
- Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone and in person, and communicate clearly and concisely, adapting style to customers.
- Use point of sale systems to manage the customer flow to deliver a 5-star customer experience.
- Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing customer profiles, favorites, and preparing a fitting room.
- Build relationships by welcoming customers to the store, asking questions, and listening to understand customer expectations and needs.
- Review customers timelines and set future appointments aligning with customer needs; follow up with customers to remind/set future sales.
- Ensure proper measurements are taken and entered into Point of Sale as required for ordering dresses and minimizing returns and exchanges.
- Maintain store standards (clean, organized, stocked, promotional readiness) to support a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain high dress code standards for themselves per the company Dress Code.
- Maintain knowledge of and follow procedures of all customer contracts and policies.
- Consistently achieve a 65% or greater conversion rate.
- Consistently achieve add-on goals: Accessories 15% of total sales.
- Consistently achieve add on goals for affiliate partners: 50% Menswear registrations.
- Set comeback appointments for the complete wedding party including Bridesmaids, Mother-of-the-Bride, and Flower Girl.
- Become the trusted expert to the customer by completing training in a timely manner and continually building product knowledge and fashion/trend expertise.
Qualifications and Skills
- Genuine passion for working with customers and creating happiness.
- Prior sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be available during evenings and weekends, as our customers primarily shop during these times.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds, climbing stairs throughout the day, and standing/walking for extended periods.
