This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, hours Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily duties in the 360 microbranch location and mail services. These duties include helping members with digital and in branch transactions, share openings, and membership maintenance. In addition, as a primary function, this position will be responsible for pick up, sorting, processing and distributing all incoming mail and functions listed below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Build member relationships that deliver value and demonstrate that we care
• Greet and welcome every member, acknowledge by their name if known
• Accountable for day-to-day interactions between members, co-workers, managers, and volunteers
• Assist members in achieving financial goals and objectives by offering PMCU products and services
• Work with team members, management, departments, and business partners to promote a service culture which provides prompt, accurate and effective member service
• Exercise appropriate judgment when seeking guidance, support, and/or direction
• Knowledgeable of our online and mobile banking to assist members as needed
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Responsible for sorting all incoming mail and placing in appropriate interoffice envelopes, mailboxes and disposing of junk mail
• Processing all payments and deposits received via mail
• Review and process returned mail
• Update system by placing bad mailing address in system/members record(s).
• Document all accounts for bad mailing addresses.
• Examines outgoing mail for appropriate appearance and makes corrections as needed. Ensure appropriate postage is applied. Keep record of registered mail.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.
• Maintain member and Credit Union privacy, security, and confidentiality
• Responsible and compliant with Regulations, Policies and Procedures
• Process a variety of transactions and member service items while providing members with a positive experience every time
• Responsible for ensuring all PMCU quality control standards are consistently achieved
• Works independently with minimal supervision
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent with 6 months member service and/or mail experience.
• 6 months member service/financial institution experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of established processes, procedures, polices and risks to the organization.
• Problem solving skills and time management.
• Must have a professional appearance, dress and attitude.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Standard office conditions.
• Low to moderate noise.
• Long periods of computer and member interactions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds in limited situations.
