Retail Wine or Beer Supervisor - Highlands Wine & Liquor

Then this wine shop is the place for you. We're looking for outgoing, knowledgeable person(s) with a passion for wine and/or to join our rocking full service wine & spirits store. Our store is adding-on a part-time and a full-time wine supervisor(s) to our wine dept., as well as an assistant beer supervisor.

Our wine/beer supervisor(s) will have a large role in the operations of the store, with administrative responsibilities, including ordering, finding & selecting wines and beers, working with vendors, building relationships with key clients, in-store tastings, leading and mentoring our awesome staff.

Minimum requirements:

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Demonstrated experience within wine industry/education.

Advanced knowledge of the craft beer industry or wines, including vintages, regions, and food pairings

Resourceful, highly motivated and dynamic personality.

An interest in and passion for wine, sprits and beer and the willingness to learn more.

Sommelier and/or Cicerone certification a plus.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Tracking sales and inventory levels to execute stock replenishment

Actively train and educate staff on products

Maintain and build partnerships with vendors

Maintain and grow relationships with key customers

Communicate brand, pricing, strategies with staff

Proficiency with retail POS system
