Revenue Analyst - Ocean Reef Club

Summary:
The Revenue Analyst is responsible for tracking the club's revenue and will assist the Executive Director of Finance in implementing the club's yield strategies. In addition, the Revenue Analyst will be required to review and analyze reports and other measurement tools, and present revenue opportunities for the club.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare and distribute internal forecasts for staffing and financial planning
- Review daily revenue pickup to look for trends and to evaluate our production vs budget and forecast
- Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct
- Work with the Conference Sales team to appropriately yield group business, while not impeding on member usage. Update MAR's in Delphi (or other Sales & Catering System) as required under the guidance of the Revenue Manager to ensure optimal use by sales team
- Extract and analyze group spend data upon departure
- Conduct group audit checks (at least monthly) to ensure Delphi and the Property Management System are in balance.
- Periodically audit the reservations team to ensure accuracy of rate quoting, restrictions and selling approach
- Strategize and execute promotions and packages for members. Partner with marketing and build packages in the property management system. Communicate offers to the Reservations Team and provide assistance and training when needed.
- Produce adhoc reports as requested.
- Manage inventory in Passkey for Conference Groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Experience with travel industry reservation systems and hotel property management systems required
- 2 years hospitality experience required
- Previous revenue management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and reports required
Skills
- Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in use of MS Excel, and MS Access, MS Word, or similar software
- Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis
- Ability to analyze reports and transfer data to other programs
- Excellent oral or written communication skills
- Understands revenue management theory and practice
- Strong attention to detail
- Comprehension of the reservation and group sales process
Education and/or Experience
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Language Skills
Must be able to comprehend the English language in order to communicate with co-workers and fully understand job assignments.

Attendance, Appearance and Conduct:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ocean Reef Club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, associate may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the Club and report deadlines.
Proper grooming is required by all associates and is described in detail in the Associates Handbook. Associates should review this policy and make sure that at all times they present themselves for shifts looking clean, neat and professional.
