- Job Summary
- The Revenue Cycle Business Manager is responsible for managing various Revenue Cycle projects and performance measurement and improvement activities across the Revenue Cycle for all CoxHealth hospital facilities. The position must provide analytical support and actionable insight to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and is responsible for the direct supervision of a team of analysts who support the revenue cycle business processes through analysis and HIS applications business rules maintenance. Success in this position will be evidenced by the quality and efficiency by which the team is able to provide support to its customers and manage associated changes; proactive communications and high quality customer service, both internally and externally, is expected. Specific job functions fall into three core categories: Leadership, Project Management, and Data Analytics

- Education
- Required: Bachelors in Business/Healthcare Admin, Finance, or similar field OR 8 years of related experience
- Preferred: M.S Degree in Healthcare, Business or related field
- Experience
- Required: Minimum 5 years Healthcare Analytics or Revenue Cycle experience
- Preferred: Prior supervisory/management and/or project management experience and Epic HB and PB system experience
- Skills
- Demonstrates expertise and thorough understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes and measurement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; must be able to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders and leadership at all levels.
- Ability to lead a team in defining and accomplishing key objectives, including ability to identify and remediate barriers.
- Ability to work collaboratively while promoting positive and effective working relations.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze processes and data to determine how to assess performance issues and opportunities.
- Highly productive with strong project management/coordination skills; must be able to write project plans, prioritize projects/tasks and monitor status effectively.
- Ability to coach and assist the development and education of others.
- Advanced proficiency in standard Microsoft computer applications, with specific expertise in Excel required, and the ability to learn additional applications as needed
- Assist in the development of department and division goals and objectives.
- Assist in the evaluation of new tools/software solutions used by Revenue Integrity or CoxHealth Revenue Cycle.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Preferred:
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
- Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)
