Revenue Cycle Specialist - Amenity Health Services, PLLC

The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the payment posting process. The Revenue Cycle Specialist is also responsible for ensuring accurate and timely application of payments and adjustments to patient accounts. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will have a strong understanding of revenue cycle processes and be adept at handling financial transactions and date with precision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts, including insurance payments, patient payments, and contractual adjustments.

• Ensure all transactions are recorded in the electronic health record (HER) and billing systems

• Perform reconciliation of payment batches and account balances

• Identify discrepancies between posted payments and expected amounts

• Maintain accurate and organized records and financial summaries.

• Provide insights and updates on payment trends, discrepancies, and collections performance to the management team.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of payment postings and related documentation

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the payment posting workflow

Other Duties include but not limited to

• Ability to pay attention to detail

• Ability to effectively communicate with managers and administrative staff

• Maintain HIPAA complaint with patient information

• Skilled in multi-tasking while managing multiple priorities
