Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Revere, MA. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to provide comprehensive support for students' communication needs, ensuring they achieve their full academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals within the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations to support student success.
- Offer training and guidance to educators on speech and language strategies that can be used in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and legal requirements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
