Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the lead role for high
speed analog design. The successful candidate will lead analog design efforts in the
development of high-speed analog circuits for our AI silicon technology. This position
offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and semiconductor technology,
shaping the future of intelligent computing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall RF analog design efforts with a focus on high-speed Client/DAC
based optical transceivers; providing technical guidance and mentorship to drive
excellence in RF analog circuit design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital design, silicon
photonic, system architecture, and verification, to ensure seamless integration of
analog components into overall chip design.
Define and execute the RF analog design strategy, including circuit topology
selection, architectural trade-offs, and design methodologies to meet
performance, power, and area targets.
Drive innovation in RF analog circuit design, pushing the boundaries of
performance and efficiency to enable AI applications with unprecedented
capabilities.
Manage the full design cycle from concept to tape-out, ensuring timely delivery of
high-quality analog IP blocks for silicon implementation.
Work closely with foundry partners to optimize RF analog IP for process
technology and manufacturing considerations.
Lead design reviews, provide technical leadership, and contribute to overall
product strategy and roadmap.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years
of industry experience in RF Analog circuit design with advanced CMOS
processes.
Direct experience in high-speed Client/DAC based CMOS RF transceiver
architectures and designs
Extensive experience in RF analog IC design, with a proven track record of
successful tape-outs in multiple process nodes.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of RF
analog design engineers.
Deep understanding of analog circuit design fundamentals, RF circuit design,
data converters, noise, linearity, stability, and high-speed (> 10GHz) design
techniques.
Proficiency in RF analog design tools and methodologies, such as Cadence
Virtuoso, Spectre RF, ADS, HFSS and similar tools
Experience with analog verification techniques, including simulation, layout
parasitic extraction, and post-layout verification.
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzer and
network analyzer.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Prior experience in AI or machine learning hardware design is a plus.
