Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and test RF subsystems using COTS components at HF frequencies and higher (possibly up to 10's of GHz)
• Design, develop, and test analog and digital phased arrays for mmWave systems
• Coordinate logistics of large-scale hardware installations including interfacing between lab engineers and site managers/installers

Must Have:

• Hardware: RF subsystem design and PCB board layout
• Experience designing and lab-testing RF subsystem s(e.g., use of network analyzers, signal generators, etc.)
• Experience with mmWave systems
• Experience with 3D printing mmWave filters and components
• Experience with communication signal processing and protocols
• Experience coordinating and fielding RF-based equipment for test and demonstration
• Experience in phased array design from 10's of MHz to10's of GHz
• Experience in measuring propagation loss through materials such as radomes
• Experience simulating RF mmWave components and systems

Education:

• PhD plus 5 years minimum experience, or MS plus 8 years minimum experience
