Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled RHPAM/BAMOE Consultant to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and enhancing business workflows using IBM Business Automation Manager Open Edition (BAMOE). The role requires expertise in cloud technologies, particularly on the OpenShift Cluster Platform, and proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. The consultant will be responsible for deploying and maintaining RHPAM/BAMOE applications, ensuring smooth business workflow execution, and troubleshooting complex issues in a production environment.
The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with databases like PostgreSQL, and utilize advanced monitoring tools to optimize system performance. In addition, the consultant will integrate and enhance microservices and business rules using technologies such as Drools and Camel 4 services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy, and manage RHPAM/BAMOE applications on the OpenShift Cluster Platform.
Upgrade RHPAM/BAMOE tools to the latest versions to address security concerns and vulnerabilities.
Maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
Connect and manage RHPAM/BAMOE applications with PostgreSQL databases to store runtime process data and ensure data integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve stuck business workflow issues, analyzing logs to identify and rectify external service communication problems.
Build and implement migration scripts to automate the migration of active processes to updated environments.
Create and manage business process models using BPMN 2.0 standards.
Implement and manage business rules using Drools integrated with RHPAM.
Enhance and deploy Camel 4 services to improve application communication and workflows.
Ensure proper monitoring using tools like New Relic, Splunk, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana for real-time tracking and logging.
Implement best practices for system monitoring, ensuring high availability and efficient workflow execution.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proficiency in developing and managing business workflows using RHPAM/BAMOE.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly OpenShift Cluster Platform and AWS EC2.
Expertise in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL database, including database connectivity and query management.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and debugging production workflow issues in a real-time environment.
Experience working with microservices architecture, including deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
Advanced scripting skills to manage automation processes such as active process migration.
Strong knowledge of Camel 4 services and their integration with RHPAM/BAMOE.
Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 standards for process modeling.
Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk for system performance tracking.
Strong understanding of business rule management systems (BRMS) and integration of Drools with RHPAM.
Hands-on experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube and Black Duck integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with ActiveMQ for message brokering and queue management.
Familiarity with FUSE services and integrating external service communications with RHPAM/BAMOE.
Strong understanding of agile software development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Experience in handling multi-region or cloud-distributed systems.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
