We are excited to announce that we are experiencing unprecedented growth in our Transmission Services Corporation portfolio and would like to add a Right of Way agent to our team! In fact, LCRA TSC plans to invest almost $4 billion on capital projects over the five-year planning period to support the need of the ERCOT and LCRA TSC systems. As our right of way agent, you will negotiate transmission line easements (both amendments and greenfield) and fee simple purchases for multi-million dollar projects for our critical infrastructure. This position will allow you to utilize your knowledge and experience in acquisitions and negotiations as well as build higher-level knowledge and skills that allows many opportunities for cross training and growth. The projects will range from West Texas, Central Texas, and down to Matagorda Bay. You will be trusted to: At a senior level, negotiates real estate acquisitions and land rights on behalf of LCRA including but not limited to, land use agreements and leases, rights of way, and easements. Resolves disputes over property rights, boundaries, and use of LCRA property. This position utilizes in-depth knowledge of best practices and experience in own discipline to provide and improve services. Takes a new perspective to solve complex problems. Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May direct the work of other staff members. |
You qualify with: - Nine or more years of experience in real estate negotiations, appraisal, land acquisition, title research, landowner relations, contract negotiation, or utility infrastructure project coordination or other relevant experience. You are a great fit with: Extensive Right of Way acquisition experience specific to the transmission industry (negotiating transmission line easements, both amendments and greenfield, and fee simple purchases.) |
