Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) manages one of the most challenging radioactive waste cleanup projects in the country. Our focus is reducing the environmental risk posed by 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste stored in 177 underground tanks on the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. WRPS seeks a motivated Risk Management Engineer/Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the WRPS Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process at project and program levels through the identification, characterization, and capture of risk information.
*Establish working relationships with Integrated Project Teams including interfacing with Project Managers, Project Controls Specialists, Engineers, Estimators, and the client
*Develop and maintain project and program level risk (threat and opportunity) registers including conduction of workshops to elicit risk information;
* Review, analyze, report, and communicate project level and program level risk information;
* Ensure risk metrics are kept current and support other risk communications, audits, and functions;
* Analyze Baseline Change Requests and Variance reporting, and support development of the associated risk consideration;
* Support proposal development through the identification, characterization, handling action development and analysis of risk;
* Record project risk data in the Site risk repository EROMS and utilize Risk modeling software to perform Monte Carlo Analysis
* Compliance with WRPS policies and procedures;
* Ensure Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles are incorporated into the organization's activities; and
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Grade 14:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience or successful completion of degree by December 31, 2024
Grade 15:
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline, Business, or Project Management and one (1) year of related experience
Desired Qualifications
* Knowledge in at least one of the following areas to perform the position successfully: Project Management(Including internal audit, contract management, and procurement), Construction Management, Project Controls, Project Engineering, Data Analytics, and Risk Management.
* Familiarity with project controls activities such as schedule and budget development, risk analysis tools to perform cost and schedule risk analysis, and Systems Engineering principles.
* Strong MS Office or similar skills specifically in spreadsheet formulation, pivot tables, and data management.
* Solid communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $71,200
Hiring Range Maximum: $98,813
