R.N. / L.P.N. Supervisor 3 PM - 11 PM M - F
As a supervisor on our team, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our extended family, our residents. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process in assessment, planning and implementing care while exhibiting organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the resident care needs.
RN Supervisor Responsibilities
• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
RN Supervisor Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing community is preferred.
• Open and effective communication skills to build trust and collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a compassionate and inspiring manner.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance administrative duties with direct patient care.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred
