Job Overview:We currently have an opening for a full-time RN Care Manager to join our Spokane, WA team. The RN Care Manager position requires a thorough understanding of clinical, financial, administrative, and psychosocial components of the healthcare continuum The RN Care Manager is responsible for providing assessments, planning, interventions and follow-up for patients and family members at Shriners Children's across the continuum of care.
Schedule: Full-time M-F (in-person)
Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year
Compensation range: Pay range for this position is $32.81/hr - $56.25/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Responsibilities:- Accountability for the achievement of optimal outcomes within the standards of practice.
- Collaborates by working with patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team locally and within the Shriners Children's system to jointly communicate, problem solve, and share accountability for optimal outcomes.
- Coordinates the plan of care to achieve desired outcomes and integrates the work of the health care team, including the patient’s Primary Care/Medical Home by coordinating resources and services necessary.
- Arranges services among community agencies, physicians, patients, family, caregivers, and others involved in the plan of care.
- Advocates by supporting or recommending services for the protection of the patient’s health, safety and rights.

Qualifications:Required
- Bachelor in Nursing
- RN licensure in WA
- 3 years experience in nursing
- Case Management Certification (CMC, ACM or ANCC), if not currently certified - certification will be required within 12 months of hire/eligibility
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred
- Master's in Nursing
- 3-5 years Care Coordination/Case Management experience
- 5+ years of clinical experience in Pediatrics, Burn care and/or Orthopaedics
- Experience with utilization review/management with a working knowledge of InterQual criteria
