About The Position
**Job Title:** Care Manager Nurse **Job Specialty:** Care Management **Job Duration:** 13-week assignment **Shift:** 8-hour varied shifts **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in specialty required **License:** Active compact nursing license required **Certifications:** BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross **Must-Have:** - Inpatient experience - EPIC experience - Completed at least one 13-week travel assignment **Job Description:** - Must adhere to a 75-mile straight-line radius rule; local travelers will not be considered. - Applicants should not contact the facility directly. - Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission; requests after acceptance will not be approved. - Submission should include two references (one from the current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. - Varied shift starts at 8 am; may fluctuate to meet department staffing needs. - Weekday, rotating weekends, and holiday coverage may be required. - Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts. - The orientation will be in the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 hours, including EPIC training. - No holiday time off requests will be approved for travelers. - Travelers must not have been employed by the healthcare system in the past 12 months. - Will be required to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles. - Ensure accurate entry of personal details for onboarding.
