About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Case Manager **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Not specified **License:** Valid nursing license **Certifications:** COVID-19 Vaccine (Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) **Must-Have:** - Ability to work approximately 1-2 weekend days per month in exchange for a day off during the week - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting **Job Description:** - Participate in the development of the treatment plan - Protect the services process - Organize and participate in family meetings - Arrange durable medical equipment, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulance transport independently - Experience working with health management organizations - Understand admission criteria (InterQual), drug/alcohol abuse treatment options - Manage cases for patients experiencing homelessness or with mental health history - Knowledgeable about advance directives, POLST, adoption, and foster care **Additional Information:** - Orientation: 40 hours, non-billable - Complete modules pre-start and annually, with self-reported time spent, recorded in transcripts - All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of hours (Note: This job description has been formatted to remove sensitive and proprietary information, focusing on the core responsibilities and requirements for the position.)
