Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN - Cath Lab
Job Type: Ongoing Contract (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available)
Hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-7:30PM (no nights/weekends/on call/holidays)
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Compensation: $44-48 based on education/experience
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist VA Cardiologists during catheterization.
- Prepare patients pre- and post-procedure.
- Understand cardiac meds, rhythms, ACLS, triage, and IV admin.
- Know Acute Coronary Syndrome, Pneumonia protocols, and emergency responses.
- Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate veteran care.
- Work with guidance from the Nurse Manager/designee.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or BSN or MSN
- Nurses must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the US. All licenses should be held fully valid and without restriction.
- Minimum of 2-years critical care experience within the last 3 years.
