About The Position
Job Title: Invasive Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty: Nursing - RN Medical Center Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 07AM - 03PM - 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Invasive Cath Lab Tech License: Active ARRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Impella - Aortic balloon pump - Arterial lines - Cardiac cath scrub experience Job Description: - Perform procedures in a cath lab setting with a 1:1 patient ratio. - Work with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including LHC/RCH, NSTEMI and STEMI. - Utilize advanced equipment like Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacemakers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, loop recorders. - Engage in EP: Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes. - Use EPIC charting, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips telemetry monitoring at bedside. - Collaborate with a team consisting of a charge nurse, receptionist, and available Hospitalist/Physician. - Expected to complete 1 day of orientation on the unit. - Provide support with laser lead extraction, Rotoblator, FFR, IVUS, IABP (balloon pump), EKOS, pacemaker, and more. - Responsible for scrub and pan table operations, medrad, groin site management, and monitoring. Note: Procedural scrubs provided by the facility.
