Position: RN Charge Nurse

As an RN Charge Nurse, you’ll be a key leader in our nursing team, working closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing. You will oversee patient care and ensure our residents receive the compassionate, exceptional attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate patient records and closely monitor vital signs.
• Lead and support our dedicated nursing staff, providing supervision and assistance.
• Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, assigning duties, and overseeing patient care.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges for seamless transitions.
• Foster a nurturing and collaborative work environment, offering guidance to staff members.
• Provide empathetic support to patients and their families during challenging times.
• Collaborate with doctors and administrators to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Communicate protocol updates efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for all.
• Keep essential reports up-to-date to maintain operational efficiency.
• Respond swiftly and calmly to any emergencies or issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Valid RN License in New York State.
• Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
