We are seeking a Care Team Leader (CTL) / Charge Nurse:
- Join our remarkable team at UW Health East Madison Hospital. This is UW Health's newest hospital and one of the most advanced hospitals and wellness centers in the country.
- Serve as a front-line leader in a collaborative environment that is surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice and a strong interdisciplinary team on this 28-bed inpatient medical surgical unit.
- Enhance your leadership skills through serving as a mentor for nurses to advance their knowledge and skills, involvement in monitoring of nursing quality metrics, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with management for unit hiring and patient experience rounding.
- Optimize patient and staff outcomes through resource utilization and distribution of patient care assignments.

Education :
Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Work Experience :
Minimum: Two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit. At least two (2) years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit.
Preferred: Three (3) years' experience in an acute care inpatient unit Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. CPR certification. Obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred - National certification in relevant specialty
