Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, the RN Charge Nurse facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Florida Registered Nurse License or Multi State compact license

BLS

ACLS

NIH Stroke Scale

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required

- Leadership Skills

- Should attend hospital training programs including New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
