JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will primarily be phone triage, in basket management, and medication refills. Clinic has 20 rooms total and sees an avg. of 60-80 patients per day. General family medicine birth to geriatrics with some OB patients. 35% well visits, 15% acutely sick, and many chronic disease management patients. Traveler can expect to receive up to 1 week of orientation. Support onsite consists of: MAs (will do phlebotomy), Patient Care Reps at front desk, Lead Nurse, Site Supervisor, PT, X-ray, Diabetic educator in the clinic on Tuesdays. Any color scrubs acceptable. Free parking on site.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- 2 years RN experience (will accept clinic or inpatient/acute care experience)
- active RN license (WI or compact) and BLS (AHA)
HIGHLY PREFERRED: Previous EPIC experience.
Ideal this candidate comfortable giving adult vaccinations. May help room patients and get vitals on occasion. Sometimes will see patients that need IV fluids. RN will start IV if needed (rare). RNs will respond to any emergency situation that happens in the clinic
